Description
A gorgeous pair of Mughal or Rajput-style drop earrings featuring exquisite miniature paintings and a sparkling Kundan/Polki-style setting. The earrings are made in a rich gold-toned finish and feature two panels: a small tear-drop stud and a larger tear-drop dangle. Both panels contain a hand-painted scene, possibly depicting a Mughal Queen or a traditional Indian woman (Rani), set against a dark background. The paintings are framed by an ornate halo of sparkling uncut, foil-backed crystals (Kundan/Polki-style stones). The bottom of the large dangle is finished with a delicate fringe of dangling faux pearls
